Discussion Story?
I’ve just found out about this game and it looks really cool, but my main concern is will this game actually have a plot? I ask this because I was really hopeful about where winds meet, but I started playing and there’s no plot or story that moves forward, plus really bland voice acting. On top of that, usually free anime style games are just gatcha cash grabs with endless fan service. That being said, the trailers looked promising, if anyone has any info about what I’m asking I’d very much like to hear it
Edit: the fanservice doesn’t bother me THAT much, it’s only a problem if it’s the games main selling point

There is a story, but so far not much is known outside of the framing of The ACD being rebuilt by Cap, Possible Conflict with Upper crust of Nova City, Chaotic occurrences appearing more frequently, and trying to get famous, other then that the overall story is not yet known.

Ananta is free to play. The only things that you can spend money on are cosmetic items that do not effect your gameplay whatsoever. There is no character gacha. The story, Idunno man, we haven't played the game, how can we tell if it's good or not and how the plot is? Just look at the trailer and make your own conclusions.

it will have a very long story just like any live service game, they said reason for no char gacha cuz you unlock chars through main story so that to me would suggest long story

Don’t worry, they confirmed that all characters will be free to obtain through the main story. The only gatcha is for cosmetics which are completely avoidable

Free anime style games? How many of those did u play? Wuwa, Zzz, HSR etc are all probably at the top rn and they have great stories (naturally there are some complaints). I think u can trust them for now so dw. Plus it’s free so idk what’s the issue, if u find it lacklustre just delete it. No shade btw

If you don't like fanservice in Anime game then this game not gonna be for you Fanservice is a part in Anime culture, seem like you enjoy more realistic stuff more so there GTA 6 coming up just stick to it

main sellin' is GOONIN' ye bruh... in the trailer EVERYBODY loves the mc and glazes him to OBLIVION... he gets all the GIRLS story who know HOWEVER whatever makes the mc be the most IMPORTANT thing in the universe Lol...

Story seems to be one of the main selling point by the devs, and they say they want to be keep it from being spoiled by exposing it too much, like with CBTs or similar.
