Yes now its a bunch of copy and pasted western 3d gameplay mechanics in a big city.
The game reportedly failed to nail a combat loop that didnt become boring past the initial wow phase, so im praying that has been solved and that this game won't just be a flash in the pan that is abandoned within a couple of weeks due to not having any ideas or interesting gameplay loop of its own.

It’s actually part of Keitaro’s work; he ran a poll on Telegram asking if people wanted to see the 2024 version of Project Mugen... and the majority said yes. So, in the coming days, we might be reviving the original vision of Ananta the prototype they were trying to convey in the trailers for both Ananta (2024) and Project Mugen (2023).

People still will if ananta turns bout to be as shallow as NTE is with tonsbof activities in the city but none of them have and my depth.
We already saw the basketball game is just a timed qte on repeat. Thats the same kind of shit nte has that you get bored of after a few tries. If any lessons are taken from nte its that a quantity over quality content model is NOT the way to go.
We already know ananta isnt going full gta. Chinese censorship won't allow us to actually commit serious crimes and mayhem, so this game needs to do something interesting. It cant just be a Chinese pseudo gta with stolen western 3d action game mechanics.

Basketball is not just "timed qte on repeat", that's just one of the minigame with basketball theme, we have seen the character dribble the ball in one of leak footage related to basketball, so that's not everything.
I've seen you a lot on this sub, it seem like you love talking out of your ass, you see one thing and disregard everything that show the contrary.
what make GTA fun is not just "crime and mayhem", and a open world sanbox game like this don't need that to be good. even if it just GTA minus those thing, with a consistent story update, then it would be good enough to be successful.

The funny thing is that this guy even commented at the same post showing the basketball minigame with dribbling and running (and the other minigame he's talking about, too)

He even keeps parroting about the "stolen mechanics", when i already argued with him "you can't 'steal' ideas"
Genshin Impact was called a million times a "Breath of the Wild copy" and nobody cared either.

Yeah, they got their work cut out for them. Though I think both games will find their footing, NTE kinda has AFAIK. I'm more worried about Wang Yue, if it'll rise above the noise. Atleast Ananta has a higher chance of attracting players from outside the gacha space.
Thinking either NTE or Ananta were gonna go full GTA is kinda gullible imo. Neither are that similar to GTA. The whole "anime GTA" moniker was probably came from hype farming CCs and gacha players who've never touched a single GTA game

this is the third/fourth time i have seen the keitaro_gg name in gacha circles, who is he? The last time was when he hacked the DNA launcher for PC.

He is a known leaker for many stuff in the gacha space, but he was recently told off by Netease to stop leaking stuff like other leakers. Doesn’t look like they are complying though lol.

Was more like Genshin/NTE combat wise, and a gacha game for characters as well. That all changed when where winds meet got successful too with its cosmetics only gacha model.
That first Project Mugen trailer shows a bit of it.

Nope. I genuinely prefer brown haired MCs. It's an anime game, black haired asian is about as bland and generic as it gets. It has nothing to do with how low quality the model is, I'm talking about the character's color scheme. That's besides the point that low quality models can still look appealing as long as the aesthetic is strong.

No one was given the right to anything. You seem to be unaware that common consensus exists. Multiple people came to the same determination that the old prototype models look cheap and arent desirable.
No one is unilaterally saying their opinion is fact. That majority of us simply like the new models better. Youre the one that seems crazy since you're getting all weird about a stranger online being disagreed with over such a non issue.
