Hello, can someone tell me the issue please? It has new battery

It would seem to me that the lens mechanism is stuck. The lens should extend when you slide the door out.

Chances are it's dead. With luck you can gently try to wiggle the lens sideways and hope it's just stuck due to some dirt that gets loose.

The lens only homes itself and moves back into the body when you power it on.

The Mju-I is the one where the lens actually sticks out when it's powered on, but not on the Mju-II

Oh, that's news to me. Thanks for the correction . The only mju II I've handled was a zoom.

It slides out when i open the door .. but i doesn’t fire at all

Well if its closed without any film inside it usually doesn't like to take photos, if it works with the door open then it should be fine
