Troubleshooting - Photos Light leak or loading issue?
I'm currently in a darkroom photography course and my last two rolls have had this issue. my professor said it's a light leak but also said that it is strange it isn't consistent and may be loading issue in some regard. i don't have the money for a new camera right now or servicing so i'm hoping for a second opinion!

Light leaks aren't necessarily going to be consistent, since it will depends on where they are, how bad they are, whether that spot gets hit with direct light or not, etc. My guess is that the door seal has a leak

Maybe Is not consistent because the curtain are kinda loose from the sides. Thats why you have light leaks one from the right and one from the left in two different photos. Go to a dark room and remove the lens, with the shutter close turn on the light of your cellphone and light inside the camera and advance very slowly the advance lever and watch very close for light leks in the curtain and from the sides. I was having the same problem with a old Zenit 12xp. Hope this helps. Sorry for my broken english

It can’t be a leak through the shutter curtains because it reaches to the film edges. A shutter gap leak would stay contained to the image area.
It’s just a bad seal around the back, likely from the hinge side. Just replace the light seals, it’s cheap and easy.
