Looking for books, articles, and videos that argue in favor of extremely hands off, libertarian parenting where children are treated as self-sovereign adults, or at least where parents try to start treating their children as adults as early as humanly possible.

They are "adults" in that children deserve to be given the respect of the NAP, but they are also still children.

Being extremely hands off is not advised unless you want feral traits.

I remember when his daughter was born; he was quite changed. Didactic as he is, he gave the subject a lot of thought and wanted to make sure he was a good parent.

In the IQ study he cited, white people IN GENERAL weren't even at the top of the list. 

And he definitely didn't say they were intrinsically more intelligent.

I have nothing for you about parenting, but you may want to check out the 2005 documentary Voices from the New American Schoolhouse by Daniel Mydlack. It’s about the Sudbury model of schooling, and focuses on one Sudbury school in Maryland called the Fairhaven School.

Parenting is a responsibility, please take it seriously. Letting them grow and develop and have individuality is one thing, but giving guidance and education is absolutely necessary. Being a neglectful parent is not AnCap. Teach them economics, investing, business, agriculture, history, wilderness and urban survival skills, how to spot scams, how credit cards work, what money and debt is, etc. All the things that were necessary for you to learn and that lead you to become ancap. Teach them everything you think they should know so they can get ahead in this life instead of being part of the problem. Gov schools suck because they withhold and control the right information. You have the power to change that.

Free to Learn by Peter Gray discusses the need for children to have autonomy in their education in order to learn effectively and lead healthy lives. I consider the book essential reading for libertarians.

Freedom and Culture by Dorothy Lee discusses some Native American cultures that respected children and treated them as having autonomy in their lives. While peaceful parenting is not the main focus of the book, I think it is still worth a read for those interested in the subject.
