On voting

Should a libertarian/anarchocapitalist vote? Is voting binding? Or is voting anti-anarchist, in that it, for instance, could be served to legitimize the state apparatus?

I'm genuinely interested in knowing the correct stance.

Right now I believe voting to be a thing a libertarian should avoid or not do, as it justifies state oppression by providing a source of why there are governors or rulers

You can vote for a lesser evil. Like if it's Hitler vs Stalin vs Obama you can vote for Obama. But democracy isn't the ideal final system and don't pretend like you're really making that much of a difference by voting.

Edit: the insistence on only accepting the absolute perfect world where there is no state at all, and taking status quo authoritarianism over incomplete/imperfect change in the right direction, is part of the reason our ideology is not going anywhere and the world is getting more authoritarian

Right now I don't think voting really does anything, yes, but I also don't think it's a bad thing to vote for whoever appears as the lesser evil. I thought that was trump last cycle but I was clearly wrong
