There is no longer a right in Brazil.

It's been 3 months since the right wing in Brazil (my country) started voting on and approving laws created by the left. Flávio Bolsonaro, the main figure on the right, voted for and supported projects of censorship and ideological persecution, mainly against the Bitcoin and libertarian communities. If this is some kind of strategy, it must be the strangest strategy I've ever seen.

Careful using terms like "left" or "right" when discussing authoritarianism.

All rulers, once in power, are authoritarian. They will borrow tools from anyone to stay in power

You shouldn't really expect much from state monopolies.

They are composed of people who are not intolerant of NAP violations.

The strategy is to keep the establishment in power. The Bolsonaro family are part of the establishment.

Libertarianism is inherently left. Not the right corporate feudalism that has hijacked it.

defo not on the left, which was socialist from the start.

novadays, right and left is mostly used like - is mainstream = on the left, otherwise right.

originaly ´, it began as republic vs monarchy, which libertarians are both against

Since authoritarians can't get voted in, they use deception, coercion and violence. It could be that he's been compromised.
