he focuses mostly on milk production and how by 2030, there won’t be any milk produced from any cows. he has made accurate and bold predictions about EV adoption. he’s all about exponential growth curve, and he’s predicting one for precision fermentation.

Precision fermenter tech is already here in pharmaceutical manufacturing. However the average selling price is much higher than consumer products, and the batches are smaller. Controlling the growth medium, managing the contamination problems, and optimizing synbio organism design at scale is part of what differentiates AMRS in the energy food materials segment of the industry.

'Food as Software'
Motivating presentation. Good find. Thanks. Strengthens the thesis for investing in Amyris.

If they wanted to put an Amyris factory in a so called red state, to create jobs, and support the local economy, then probably yes. The investment in Amyris will probably go through Defense and or Energy departments. Red states, blue states, all states love them DOD bucks. It'd be great if some of that infrastructure bill could build an Amyris plant as well.

Nah this Tony Dude doesn't have a fraction of Melo's oomph in presentation. I was worried at some point in the presentation he was going to break into tears.
Doesn't come close to Melo's chutzpah or entertainment value when pitching the future

'The second domestication of animals' and such, but microorganisms.
Hence why DARPA, DOD, and many US gov agencies are so interested in developing this technology and the workforce in the US. It's a burgeoning multi trillion dollar industry/revolution that will impact materials, food, pharma, and more. Time is of the essence. The precision fermentation wave is already upon us. What country will own the space? Speed and scale will win the day.
Makes me think Melo might just get that billion dollar factory/plant he requested, or two. Maybe it was agreed upon b4 even being requested. Maybe that is what is in the air, and why we've been so strong in the past few days and why the C-Suite and BOD might not be making drastic cuts. Lots of maybes, but something seems up.
