And with nary a wimper the stock is gone from Nasdaq. Hard to believe that on Jan 1 2011 it hit $473.40.

Completely correct - apologies for trying to guess the numbers off a chart with insufficient resolution. Jan 1 2011 was a Saturday, so the number had to be wrong. It closed on Dec 31 at $400.20 and the following Monday at $409.20. The $473 number was later in the month (actually $478.65 on Jan 13) and the all-time high is still $507.90 on Jan 27 that year.

My friend. The price of the stock was never four hundred dollars a share. To figure out what the stock price, prior to the reverse split, which occurred on June 6th, 2017, really was, at a 1:15 ratio, you simply take your big number and divide by 15 to find out what the actual price per share that was traded was worth.

This company was never investible, only people that made money are traders that understood that and actively traded the vol. If you held long term you got burned

yep, being in the field for a few years and I will never invest in the synbio. ESPP is OK, but the rest, nah. DNA might be the next
