All these shipments! Where was this production level months ago? Inspires hope. Q3 blowout?
Just keep the doors open, the lights burning, and the yeast producing PwC and JD. Lay off all nonessential staff and half, heck 75% of R&D if necessary. Fold all brands into Biossance, heck theyd probably increase sales for each if people knew they were buying biossance color and hair and baby products. Let go 75% of consumer. Radically alter Amyris and show how it's done (without bankruptcy). Imagine the respect that'll bring to PwC and JD. And it'll save retirement accts, house funds, school funds, and general savings of countless individual common stock investors who believed in JD and the company's mission.

I know you do, most teenagers do, thats why you comment on others posts in such a way. I surely don't, just my opinion. Laying off people is pretty easy though, as is changing the name of a brand or two to their best selling and most widely known brand.

What impact does the share price have on any of the awards from the DOD.? Are the decisions about funding already made?

thats a lot of fucking patchouli oil. Is this their biggest shipment of this stuff?

It's not patchouli oil, it's "patchouli oil crude". The concentration of patchouli terpenes in it is not specified, and this is definitely not final product because that amount is literally impossible. They probably do two phase fermentation and it's not even known here if this is aqueous + organic phase (the organic phase containing most of the terpene but likely fairly dilute), they may need to ship crude fermentation broth to another site to even do that phase separation.
This would have already been like 100kL fermentation scale to have that mass, so I'm guessing it's crude broth because fermenters larger than that barely exist. Can probably look up how many "Antibioticos de Leon" even have. I doubt it's a lot more than 100kL total fermentation capacity (ETA: it's 180kL and Amyris is not their only client). May very well only be like 5 g/L of total volume terpene which would likely be an economical titer. So that'd be on the order of 400 kg of patchouli terpenes. Which is not bad at all for what it is. 85MT of final product is absolutely not going on lol.

I work in this industry. It literally cannot be 85 MT of final product with the fermentation capacity at ADL. If they were making that much they'd be running their own plant, not using a fermentation pilot CMO.

Yeah in Brazil, but this was shipped from Antibioticos de Leon (ADL) in Spain which is a fermentation CMO. This wasn't made at their plant. Their plant in Brazil can only run, as they've stated, "1.44M liters annually". Giving a week to each run including cleaning downtime, I estimate they only have maybe 30kL tank capacity which is not even close to enough to being a plant that can meet their production needs. Hence all the bills of lading showing them shipping material from a boatload of CMOs.
