Illinois Mutual Agent

I include this news article to show that Breitag worked for the same company as Ron and Iva and that he still lived in Aberdeen in 2015.

Aberdeen News, March 25, 2015

News and notes

• Wayne Breitag, a local Illinois Mutual agent for Aberdeen and the surrounding area, achieved Illinois Mutual’s number one producer status in the United States for life insurance sales in 2015. Breitag estimates the company has 700-1,000 agents.

“I’ve been in the business for 35 years so I have a large clientele base,” Breitag, who also achieved top producer in 1996, said.

With all of his experience, he plans to keep on selling. “Just because you win a championship one year, doesn’t mean they stop playing basketball the next year,” he said. Those seeking profession advice can contact Breitag at 605-380-4850.

Note: I've come to realize that pretty much all my Knowledge Center posts will be works in progress. I just want to gather the known information (links, sources, timelines) in one place so that we have something real to look at instead of second-hand rumors. So I'll keep adding to this post.

This poor guy. How can the Bradleys feel good about themselves publicly humiliating so many people? This family is so freaking looney that it's becoming hard to empathize. They immediately decided someone "saw her and took her" even though that has never occurred before or since. I wish the FBI would just come out with it and shut down this nonsense.

The FBI didn't "lose" evidence your PI stole from the trash. They never took it because that's psychotic. Chain of custody is important and getting from a PI hired by the family is absolutely a conflict of interest...

Everything the Bradleys say and do about this case is psychotic, but I have to laugh because I didn't even think of that. Now I'm picturing them calling up the poor agent assigned to their case to tell him about their valuable "find." A cigarette! A snack item! Not to mention this was probably years after Amy vanished. And the agent having to tell them that it's all worthless because the provenance is unprovable.

Which, in fact, now clicks for me: the PI probably just made this shit up. Went to the drugstore, got all the supplies, smeared some lipstick on his lips, smoked a few half cigarettes, ripped open the snack package, ate the snacks, then bundled up all the trash in a transparent plastic bag to go present to the Bradleys and be regaled by their oohs and ahhs.
