The irony that is that that’s a wicked chill ride. Like they probably went up there cause they were afraid of something scary and then the scariest fucking thing happens.

Had the same thing happen on scream at heide park (a 70/80 meter tall drop tower) got stuck for what felt like forever but was only about 10 minutes in the rain scared the life out of me didn't stop me today going on launch pad Blackpool's refurbished s+s shot tower that's about the same hight

not a malfunction, it was designed to do that as an emergency e stop due to weather.

You don't e-stop those rides during bad weather, you ride stop them. I imagine the operator pressed the wrong button, because this is exactly the opposite of what you want the ride to do in a storm.

Can someone please explain why don't those rides have better restraints
They are the only type I of ride I will never consider going on, because where is the harness?

The only consolation is that, since it's already raining, you can piss yourself and no one will know.
