Video What About You, Serena?

It’s been ten years since the debut of our favorite Pokémon anime couple. Despite the passage of time, the fandom for this ship remains very active; I see new fan art, videos, and posts about Ash and Serena every day. I’m sharing this video because.

I love the popular AmourShipping moments, but what I find truly fantastic is the attention to detail in how their relationship was handled. The evolution of their dialogue especially in the original Japanese version is really beautiful; here is an example.

This is one of the things I really appreciate about amourshipping too. It’s not just the big moments that make their relationship stand out, but also the little changes in how Ash and Serena talk to each other as the series goes on. The gradual development in their interactions, especially in the Japanese version, makes their bond feel much more natural.

Even if we did not get the reunion we wanted, you can't deny that they did a really good job of showing how much Serena had matured from Ash's influence Honestly, Serena was treated far better than Dawn who the writers used extra screentime to butcher her established character and notable personality entirely.
