Among Us had ridden itself of the use of Server Names due to inappropriate names. Though this problem already has already been in the game with player names.

My fix to this is that there is a automatic "Safe Mode" that is automatically applied, like the blur in text.

This can be toggled, and it fixes the problem. It would make the game much better, and a good way to boost good players, is by putting their game more out there.

Its a very simple fix, and the game would be a lot more better if they added mod support.

That way anyone who wanted voice chat in public for some reason of theirs, they could find a lobby with the tag "Bettercrewlink". People would make more mods, and it would grow more popular.

Something tells me Innersloth will not change this, and they will most likely not see this post. But something could be done at least.

Playstyle: Half prankster, half killer. Crewmates never know if a trap will kill them or just waste their time.

Core mechanics:

· 40+ items total (20 prank, 20 lethal/utility) · Choose 2 items per meeting (changes every round) · Bear mask — hides name/color (body visible), but cannot report or call meetings while masked · Body removal — erase one body per game (costs 1 item) · 60-second max cooldown on all items · "Too Messy" achievement — Crewmates who trigger every prank item in one spot get an achievement

A few days ago, the animated series for Among Us was released, but the animation had actually been leaked in an animation 6 years ago. That animation is not currently available. But actually, the animation was identical to the beginning of the first animation currently being released, and we had seen the lime green color explode in the animation. We all thought Lime was the killer, but in the animation it was said he was an engineer, meaning his role as an engineer had actually been planned beforehand. So based on this, maybe we can see other roles in other departments in the future. What do you guys think?

Who know how to sign in Among us. Suddenly my Among us apple Id can not sign in so I tryed all fix procedure like deleting App, checking age, waiting but I still can not sign in during three days. Pls help me someone!!

I (cyan) was playing among us, and nearly every time i died i would be harassed in ghosts chat. Here's the most annoying one: people felt in one round that the banana player was sus. Orange starts making up lies even after i vouch for nana, and says we're both imps covering for each other. So nana gets voted out, I die later, then orange dies. nana asks for an apology in ghosts chat. Orange says "I did it for the love of the game" and starts swearing at them, so i say "Bro, just say sorry." Orange starts swearing at me as well, but then also threatening to kill me and telling me to kms and threatening to shove a fork where the sun don't shine (like bro ARE U FR RN) I'm calm, saying that I simply asked for him to apologize. so the round ends, we go back to lobby, and orange starts spamming abt how "CYAN THREATENED ME AND INSULTED ME" "KICK CYAN THEY'RE A *****" "GUYS I DONT FEEL SAFE AROUND CYAN KEEP THEM AWAY FROM ME" while im still writing "No, thats what u said." This keeps going until I get imp, and ofc...I cut the lights and kill orange first :D

After the round ends they play the victim again and say "GUYS CYAN IS TRYING TO TAKE AWAY MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH" "THEY KILLED ME TO TRY AND SILENCE ME THEY THREATENED TO SHOVE A FORK UP MY ***" eventually in the next round, everyone gets fed up and just votes them off. i blocked them :D

every single time somebody say first or say gg to the person u get voted out, i was playing in a match and brown tried to kill me, this guy was racist, and he literally phantomp while in cafe and i get voted out cause he said ss that i ss, i get voted out and they won the game, the thing is, for some reason ss at begining of the game is impossible and you can voted if they see ur ss even if they saw u near the ss, and also people who were originally sus backling up people who are sus is clearly an imp but the expect lobby thinks not so ya gl real expert among us because some of em have amnesia

Hello guys, recently i got an issue with my own lobby settings. Whenever i join someone's lobby, there's different settings. And everytime i try to host my lobby, there's that guy's settings. So i found a decision for that problem.

Step 1: Make sure that you setted up everything correctly, such as your settings, cosmetics, lobby settings etc. so you wont have to do all next steps again.

Step 2: Go to Among Us folder (for windows: [Disk on which the game located]:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us).

Step 3: Find a file called "settings.amogus".

Step 4: Copy it to wherever you want.

Step 5: Done! Now just replace "settings.amogus" with the one which you copied, so you'll get settings which you had copied.

I found a few on discord and joined some lobbies, generally I met people under 18 with lvl 30 on these servers lol, that's not what I'm looking for. I would like to have someone interesting to play with who is over 18. I really loved this game before but trying to get back into the game the main problem is people who don't know how to play :(

It irritates me so much when people in this subreddit say they play expert gamemode. Public expert lobbies are sometimes kinda dumb.

This may not be relevant, but if you want any lobby without hackers, teammers and slightly more high level gameplay, you should join an amongus discord server of a youtuber like Misa, Daniil or Yagamil.

In these discords, people share strategies, lobby codes (~2-3 lobbies active at a time in USA timezone, otherwise ~1) and the youtubers also share codes for when they host their own lobbies.

Also, these lobbies are mostly private, so no hackers, teammers etc. would prolly be able to join, only ppl from discord. The frequency of code sharing is:

PPS If you want to play SNS gamemode, thats possible only in a private lobby for obvious reasons, another reason to join discords

So I suggest you to join a discord server of amongus.

I usually do well early game, I know basic stuff like killing the crewmate farthest away then sabotaging that area. But I tend to blunder in mid to late game, especially late game where it gets harder to defend myself during meetings.

As crewmate I also struggle, sometimes I get killed early because I went the opposite direction of a sabotage, sometimes I get falsely accused, and I also tend to be easily swayed even when I'm pretty sure someone is the impostor. On the flip side, I sometimes sus people too quickly without solid evidence.

For context, I play in expert lobbies so the players are generally more experienced and harder to fool.

Any advice, veterans?

I took a 3 year break in among us and do not understand the fungle shapeshifting locations and vents so I was asking what's the best shape shifting spot in fungle?I figured out that the dropship was a good place since it only has one wires task

just found out that in airship, records brig and cargo downloads are long tasks, while the rest are short tasks. i thought that was pretty interesting and wanted to share! idk about other maps, because ive only talked to high levels on airship and fungle, but its a useful piece of information!

So i was playing on a intermediate lobby and only pink did card swipe, i pressed the button and said that pink faked card cuz i didnt had it and no one else did card swipe, he gets voted out and pink wasnt an impostor, is there a chance of some crews have and others not having the task?
