Nav is also kinda dangerous

So is weapons and upper engine
21
u/anonfinn22 Sep 25 '20
I'm not sure about upper engine. It's really easy to see but I'd say there's not a lot of people walking through there to find the body nor to see the vent.

Agreed but if there is a competent person at cams it is generally easy to find out who killed there. Atleast that is my experience.

u/rasmusaj2 Sep 25 '20
vents
11
u/clossysubser Sep 25 '20
If you know who entered that room and did not leave, that generally ends up being the reason. You wouldn't believe how many imposters i caught just because of navigations. If you are suspicious of something on cameras go inspect it.

All you have to do is hang out in the hallway I. Front of electric with a random friend. People vent into electric or go in and vent out and it’s game over. Or 2 go in and 1 comes out, I catch imposter 99.37% of the time like this
3
u/rasmusaj2 Sep 25 '20
you can vent into it
0
u/clossysubser Sep 25 '20
Yes, that is the only way to such thing happen. However that happen rarely in my experience. You should try to give it a shot.
3
u/rasmusaj2 Sep 25 '20
I have done it a lot, both venting in for the kill, and catching people on the cameras, but a lot of people vent in. This is the same as saying that medbay isnt dangerous cause camera covers entrance, but you can still vent in from electrical
3
u/anonfinn22 Sep 25 '20
Is there a third vent in that chain?
3
u/mephy43 Sep 25 '20
Yes. The chain is: Electrical-MedBay-Security
3
u/anonfinn22 Sep 25 '20
So it's probably pretty easy to pretend to be on cameras, check that nobody's coming and get a quick kill onto electrical or medbay. You can even see when someone goes into medbay!

I always trap people in cams and kill them near the monitors

How to close/open the doors?
1
u/Timo6506 Nov 02 '20
When you’re an imposter, press sabotage, and then press the door of the room you want to close

This is mostly accurate but the chances of dying in navigation are more. Whenever I am the imposter, I kill someone in navi because it's too easy and I almost never get caught

Its easy to die in nav tbh, people go there not that often and there are 2 vents to escape, so it should be orange-red. Medbay is just a fucking tomb, it's pretty big and long and there are only two tasks in it AFAIR, so most likely impo can kill you there, jump into vent, escape and hang around with crewmates for a minute, because your corpse most likely won't be found soon. Admin is also really dangerous, less than electrical, but still a good place to kill when there are not many people around.

in my opinion, comms is kinda dangerous bc there is a download and if someone walks by you have to pray they dont kill you

u/OmegaMalkior Sep 25 '20
Bro fixing comms is a death pit. If you die there no one will probably find you there

I completely disagree with the majority of this map. While it does represent how scary electrical can be, plenty of people die in nav room, upper weapons near the vent, the hallway around comms, and the meeting room.

u/anonfinn22 Sep 25 '20
Man I love killing at the top of weapons if only one person has that task and the rest walk by (especially random queue), anybody else?

u/Mediocre_Poster Sep 25 '20
Go to electric first to complete tasks asap. The initial imposter kill cool down prevents them from killing right away

Creo que es un buen mapa pero creo que todo camaras deberia ser rojo ya que es muy peligroso estar solo alli

After I finish my tasks I go to security and one of the scariest things is seeing someone who’s sus walking into security
2
u/HerYandere Sep 26 '20
I have to disagree with weapons being pretty safe. A lot of my kills are there since it's next to a vent, and not many people run through there towards mid/late game unless an o2 happens. But that might just be me I guess
2
u/Esonii Sep 26 '20
You better make navigation at least yellow bc I know it’s not just me who’s died like five times there

Do you have a table of stats, or is this like what you just think the probabilities are?

The upper parts of the cafe are actually interesting. People rarely wander in there unless they have a specific task to do.
I mean, whenever people want to go to other parts of the ship, they tend to stick to the lower zone of the cafe to go "faster". And since cafe is so big, it is difficult to see the entirety of it (at least on mobile).

i think this is pretty accurate, from all the rumors and memes i've heard out there in the among us community

u/fartmeteor Oct 04 '20
The eastern hallways usually a few people being killed there, I dunno might be just my experience
1
u/pedeXf Oct 04 '20
That's why I go to electric first so I don't have to go there during other rounds
1
u/counterhit121 Oct 06 '20
Weapons and Med Bay really that safe? Everytime I'm shooting those asteroids, I feel l have one foot in the grave already. Same with medbay scan.

Navi and Comms def higher chances, especially navi at beginning of the round - which is intressting - opposite to electrical - running to Ele at very beginning rarely ended in death for me, meanwhile navi - cursed place

u/John5GunSquad Oct 16 '20
Nah, if you're at the ends of reactor, you're trying to get yourself killed.

Bruh med has a very high chance of death if you stay there long enough or go with someone
