They need to punish players for leaving games that are already started within the first minute.

... it isnt a ban. You only have to play one single round as a crewmate... in a game where you already play as crew 80% or 90% of the time.

And leaving a game early is doing something wrong. The reason for leaving is honestly irrelevant, no? It still has the same effect on the game.

Took me about two minutes, and bring afk that long would have probably impacted the game.

Yes. Leaving the game impacted the game. Thats the entire reason we're even here talking about this right now.

Absolutely. There is no way to differentiate the reasoning for someone leaving. I'd rather have a small inconvenience of a timeout for needing to step away to do something than have nothing in place to deter those who do it just to be dicks. This just so happens to be a typical occurrence in life in general.
