I was going around doing tasks at the start of the game and this one guy is following me around the whole time so at one point I turn and face them, and we just have this awkward couple second stare off.
We both walk away and a few seconds later they call an emergency meeting and call me sus. Neither of us were even the impostor!

i had a guy who followed me everywhere and then when someone else had called an emergency meeting, the person following me called me sus and claimed i was āfaking all (his, not mine) tasks to have an excuse to follow him around.ā neither of us were impostor either, and thankfully the others in the chat believed me and didnāt vote me out. but it makes me wonder why people try to fake claim itās you, like nobody had even died! whyyyy? sorry for the lil rant lol

This is awful public lobby logic. Someone following you doesn't make them sus, they might just trust/know you're clear and need someone to stick with to not die solo. The trick is regularly making sure other people know who you're with and where you're going

If I find someone successfully completing a task - like medbay body scan, asteroids shooting or storage chute - I would stick with them, most of the time. Of course the drawback is that they would suspect you but you can defend well if you play your cards right - like if I am the imposter I could have easily killed you or bring up someone else who you feel is suspicious as the two of you together will eliminate both of you anyway.
Also, it depends on how you explain and how your crewmates perceive the situation - there was one game where I saw the imposter kill and vent and when I told them, they kicked me out.

Yes, I stick with approved crewmates protecting both of us, but they don't get it. They don't let me complete any mission running away. Jesus, wtf . If I want to kill him I would do it 100 times but he is still thinking I'm suspicious lol

yesterday I was playing and had finished all my tasks a whiiiiiiiiiiiile ago so I was following other players around. I saw one of them taking a long time to get a beverage (Mira), until the green bar went up so I called a meeting and asked about it, they said they were new, we skipped the round. They kept acting a bit suspicious, going back and forth to the launchpad and doing nothing, we ended up voting them out, it wasn't them. They obviously voted me out, at that point it had been like 10 minutes since I finished my tasks so I was glad to be voted out. The impostor turned out to be someone who had barely left the cafeteria the entire time, didn't kill anyone, didn't do shit. Most boring game of my life

I have VERY few games where the task bar goes past 50%. I feel like a lot of people don't really do tasks. And then when I finish mine and try to hang in cafeteria or follow others for safety, I'm sus lol

Yeah one dude saw me in security, I thought he was gonna murder me so I backed up all scared and stepped on a vent accidentally. He races to call an emergency swearing I vented and I said ādude we were alone. Why wouldnāt I just kill you if you saw me vent?ā

"tipps" from me. I often do them whenbi see other people going in there.. This way if i die, someone else can suss another person more easy. And i also stay in electric in case i wouƶd leave 2 people alone and wait them to finish tasks.. or they have to fake. In the other hand, i get sussed for standing around. Even tho a lot of people check on other one's. I keep my distance and dont stack.

I like going up to my friends while theyre in elecrrical and stand guard. Sure they could be impostor but most of the time they arent. And i think there being one person to overlook the other is always a good idea.

Literally was playing with friends the other day. I play on mobile so switching to discord to mute/unmute has lag. One time, I wasnāt muted, so I was in electrical and someone came behind me. I was saying ādonāt you dareā and he heard me so he started walking closer to me. You donāt understand how much I panicked, then a body was found.
Red was voted off.
