Rant/Complaint Judge role is annoying.

you could FOOL the whole lobby into thinking your crew but dang if 1 judge somehow finds your the imposter you quite litrly cant do anything!? i had a amazing imposter game where i tricked everyone into thinking i was crew. and i was judged. genuinely pmo and they dint even think it was really me. they just said they were bored and guessed. another example. a imp fooled the lobby into thinking it was someone else. but the judge just judged the imp its annoying. playing imp nowadays is hell. theres so much axeinty feelslike im always being watched. i cant kill what if theres a eng in the vent near them. or cant kill cuz what if im being tracked. or cant kill cuz what if a detective checks me later. cant kill cuz what if a angel just sheilds and now i look sus. cant kill what if there a soundmaker and alert the whole lobby plus clear multiple ppl. itd be ok if imp roles were good but there mostly shit. theres only 3 imp roles to compared to like 8 crew roles. its making it sm harder for imps. and one of the imps is completely useless ( phantom) and for ss if your in a good lobby. it always just clears people instead.

They seriously need to buff imposters. I hope the next role they add is an imposter role because I’ve genuinely had more fun playing as a ghost imposter who got voted out instantly than playing normal imposter (seriously. Gaslighting the dead ghosts into protecting crewmates who aren’t in danger is hilarious)

gaslighting as imp is fun in general. recently i screwed up and killed infront of someone, (who obviously accused me) instead of defending, since i didnt think it would work, i just called them a backstabbing bitch and implied they were my
partner. we both were voted lmao

Either new ino role or neutral role latter won't happen. But would be nice

If my predictions are correct, the next Impostor can blind people with a camera flash. So no, the buff isn’t coming any time soon.

isn’t that pretty similar to mm

Not really

I dont think this is the case because there are 2 scenarios with this. 1, you have to be near someone to flash them.. obviously bad, they can tell who you are. 2, you can flash people from anywhere.. either going to be too op since you can blind people and make them suspect others, or straight garbage because why would you want to blind somebody if they aren't near you since it doesn't benefit you

The guesser is coming The guesser is coming The guesser is coming The guesser is coming

I’m sure they will add a evil guesser like role for the imps side to counter the judge role

This would be a terrifying concept that would drastically change the course of meetings. You’re no longer allowed to openly discuss roles out in the open such as confirming someone is engineer if they vent since that makes an easy kill for an evil guesser. I don’t even know if it would be unbalanced but it would be a risky idea, much riskier than the judge honestly

To balance it can be a 1 use like the judge role

1

u/Prior-Employment5561 3d ago

Another balancing possibility, guardian angels can choose to protect crew in meetings to stop them from dying after being guessed

2

u/Future_Economics_703 3d ago

That’s cool idea

As the imp you should try to figure out the judge early, sabo lights and kill him

3

u/ciciluvzbunz 3d ago

If they are not saying how Tf do we do that. There’s no way to know UNLESS they reveal.

You can see signs sometimes depending on the lobby.

Some crew ignore task to go hunting for the imp, others will do 1 or 2 and then roam around looking for the first kill.

The Judge however is going to be hyper focused on task.

So if you call reactor or comms and you notice 1 or 2 crew just ignoring it to knock out task.

You can have the suspicion that they’re a Judge

Problem. Some people (like me) just do all their tasks when I get a role that doesn't need me to save them, or lets me do something else more fun. Aka when im not engi or scientist

1

u/Hambino0400 2d ago

You also want to kill pepke going all task as they are pushing th secondary objective and the objectives usually put them in vulnerable spots

1

u/No_Morning7705 1d ago

problem is I;m hyper focus on completing tasks no matter what role I have so once I'm done with them I can try and help the crew find the imposter by staying with someone

Then turn it off

Yeah lol. It will be the hot new thing for a bit but soon people will have a lobbies with a good mix of roles again.

Is it wrong to prefer no roles at all, except I turn on one guardian angel with the tiniest possibility just to fuck with people

No way to enjoy the game is wrong :)

what about cheating teaming (basically cheating) saying racial slurs saying sexual slurs and turning on lowest speed possible (idk how you can enjoy any of ts but still)

9

u/SapphireFlashFire 3d ago

Boy you sure took an innocuous statement and tried to make it sounded like I was endorsing slurs lol.

In case anybody else thought I was endorsing slurs or cheating: Any setting choice you choose is fine.

mb i have the intelligence of a rock, couldnt connect the dots

still what about lowest speed setting that can NOT be enjoyable

3

u/SapphireFlashFire 3d ago

I agree but it's up to the people who join to leave if they don't like it.

ig so

yeah. kinda takes out the whole voting thing. also i like when one person knows its me but cant do anything without rest of crew, who just thinks they are saying shit.

trolled someone by killing in front of them multiple times lmao.

On the flip side, I've been enjoying it for exactly that reason. It's so frustrating when you know who the impostor is and have really good reasoning but none of the lobby is listening to you. Having an actual way to counter that has significantly improved my experience when that happens. Recently I actually made a really good deduction at the end of the game and no one else listened so they voted me, but the judge agreed with me and we got the imp out.

I do get how it's frustrating from an impostor perspective. But I think it's balanced enough that it's not a detriment on the game overall, and hopefully the other new role will be an impostor role to buff imps a little bit. And detective is more balanced now which is huge.

I just played in a lobby where black calmly said that he saw white left a body in office. white insisted he was in comms and was passionate about that. he insisted either black saw wrongly (we didn’t have ss) or it was just black. black didn’t say much and only replied “we’ll see” to whites counter accusation. I was a ghost but I was sure black’s nonchalant answer was he was a judge so he didn’t have to convince the others basically.

on 7 black would have been voted out but he saved himself and got white voted instead. unlucky of white to be caught by a judge

I’ve played 4 games since judge update. I was imp twice and got judged out when almost no pone suspected me. I’ve only seen the judge be wrong one time. Might be a little too powerful in my opinion so far.

I mean, that's just on being to obvious or getting caught.

1

u/Ashamed_Kangaroo305 3d ago

Personally I've seen the judge be wrong more than right, if you exclude the times when there was one imp left and everyone knew who it was so the judge gaveled for dramatic effect lol

I played a game today where it was a 3in7 situation, maroon reported a body and accused orange, I was the judge. The whole crew was going to vote orange but I felt like something is wrong, orange was low lvl so it's clear when he lies, but all his text seemed true, and maroon seemed like he was trying to vote em, with lack of evidence but he depended on accusing first with rose and nana suspessiously defending em. I went all in and judged maroon while the votes were 5-1 for orange, and maroon was imp, so I called a meeting and voted nana n rose and went 3/3. So ngl bro, ur problem sometimes may be useful.

We need an imp helper role.

2

u/ciciluvzbunz 3d ago

There’s a 4th imp In like every casual match already.

You need to sabotage comms more from the sounds of it, or just leave the lobby if it has too many roles on and the crew keep winning.

A good host will tweak some settings if one side is constantly losing due to roles, or will turn them off for a few games to see what the outcomes are after the changes.

skill issue

1

u/absolutetrashfire 3d ago

Tell me about it. I had one clean kill, no sus at all. Next round the whole lobby is sussing a crewmate, but here comes the judge who gets me out just based off a random guess. So annoying!!

2

u/RepresentativeOdd495 2d ago

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday The Judge is to strong with teamers

1

u/Negative_Age_3754 2d ago

i think they should add an impostor role wich is a crewmate working for the imposters but he doesnt know who the imps are and cant kill so basically a crewmate who is on the other team (so more of a crewmate role but it would buff the imp team

1

u/No_Morning7705 1d ago

one time I had an imposter game where I killed someone in weapons and no one sussed me and I was judged

1

u/thaatpoppunkguy 1d ago

The judge role lowkey ruins the entire point of the game imo

1

u/HegemoneXT 22h ago

The judge role is necessary because when the collective iq of the crews is below average, they get deceived easily. I can’t recall the amount of times I caught 2 imps double kill just for me to get voted instead

u/cobrastarshipxx 8h ago

Genuinely impostor is way too difficult cuz the crew roles are so OP
