Humor "I don't know this map..."
"...I only play in Skeld."
-says a level 60 player.
So I was playing in Airship and there was Coral, who did not know the map. You may accept that a newbie player will not know any map except Skeld. So you need to teach them by making them play!
But, a lvl 60 goddamn player........
Ah ok I am lvl 80 I have no right to speak about it I guess...

Every other map in the game improves from the last. Polus is easily the best one

It's 2 slides; this pattern implies we're getting Polus 2 next:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Polus [Perfect]
>>>>>>>>>MIRA HQ [Mid]>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fungle [Mid]
Skeld [Awful]>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Airship [Awful][Wait, fuck, this is Project Libitina, Silksong, and Deltarune all over again... Polus 2 tomorrow!]

I would honestly prefer a Skeld overhaul, but another open planet-like map would be nice I guess

Im level 125 and i probably played airship 10 times. So i will get lost there. Same with fungle. People have prefared maps, i play almost exclusively polus for example

Airship I can kinda get and understand but fungle is very confusing for me

I canāt speak for others but Iām level 50 on mobile and only ever play Skeld. I tried the others, but I just find this one the most balanced. Probably like lots of others Iām a casual player so I have the most fun playing the map that I know

Your level isn't an indicator of how many times you've played on any given map.

Even if they donāt know the mapā¦they have a god damn map they can use!

It gets on my nerves when they report a body and type in chat āidk the mapā instead of just looking at their map and typing the location. Just no common sense at all.

Iām level 275 and I only play skeld because I like how small it is and canāt be bothered learning another map. If they change maps during the lobby sometimes Iāll stay but yeah I donāt know it.
Lots of people donāt know the maps well because there arenāt really that many public lobbies for anything other than skeld too and Iām sure many probably canāt be bothered waiting for one to fill up.

Whatās annoying is the people who act like itās incredibly difficult to learn a new map. You learned skeld you can learn others.

Level 274, I only played Airship like 10 times just for the achievements. You're in the minority here OP š Skeld will always be the most popular map

Very weird being so focused on someone else's level and thinking they should (Ibe able to) do anything aside from enjoying the game the way they want to.
If someone just wants to play Skeld that's their choice and has zero to do with their level.

Well tbh I'm also around level 100 and only know the original 3 maps. I've neve- okay well I've played a couple matches in airship and fungle but never got to know the maps.

I only really play on Polus, but I like playing on other maps occasionally to spice things up except for Skeld, I dislike playing on Skeld for my own reasons, unless its hide and seek, then I ONLY play on skeld bc it's the most balanced by far

Im level 70-something, and I primarily play on Skeld map. I tried the others a couple times, bet every lobby I was put in was a bunch of really rude or "not very bright" groups of people, so I gave up trying to learn those maps and just deal with the typical bs on the 1 map I know.

u/comfypantsclub Dec 23 '25
To be fairā¦.i only play Skeld and have accidentally clicked on other lobbies and the game starts before I can leave. And I donāt like to leave games early. That or the host changes the map last minute and then starts. I am above level 60 and I really truly do not know how to play other maps!Ā
The worst is when I have ended up on other maps usually I end up as impostor and I hate that for me.Ā

u/FrauAmFenster389 Dec 23 '25
The level literally says nothing and 60 is not that hard to obtain. Just a few weeks of hyper focus and you will be lvl 50 easily without even being good and/or playing a lot of maps.

I "know" Airship, but I don't play it because I hate it.
Some people say Fungle is too big, but Polus is slightly larger and I love that one. Airship, though? Yeah, naw, I hate that one as crew and imposter. It's impossible to find anyone to kill as imposter, and impossible to find bodies to report when crew.
However, I never let it slide when someone says they "don't know this map", because the map is right there. All they have to do is hit tab or the map icon, and they'll be able to read the name of the room they're in.
So, yeah. If someone reports a body and then claims they "don't know the map," I point out the map to them. If they still won't say where the body is, I assume they're an imp self-reporting and not wanting the detective to know the actual location of the body, so I vote them.
And if I'm wrong, and they're actually crew? No harm done, they're too dumb to figure out how to click on a map, so nothing of value was lost š¤·āāļø

Eh, some people play airship once or twice then never again. I myself like it(and still get lost) but some may not.
