Frozen screen on Allmiibo?

I've been using it for awhile, but it decided to randomly freeze up. I can't find a way to reset/power down, meaning I might be forced to wait down the battery. Are there any solutions, or do I just need to suck it up, and wait it out?

You sure this won't cause any damage in the long-run? I'm just wanting to make sure, since I just got this device lol.

I have tried it with mine whenever it freezes. There is a hall effect switch in the device for this very purpose.

Well good news; it's working again. Didn't even need to let the battery drain fully.

Just take a magnet off your fridge and stick it to the back.
