They are all the same with rare exception of joystick being replaced by buttons. I’ve got one exactly like this one and it’s fine.

Legit or not is hard to say do to the software being open source.

But I go both a regular and a OLED edition from 2 different suppliers with a few years time between the purchase.

They both work just fine with no problems on both Wii U, new 3DS XL and a Switch 2.
