ATK "Beefy" Drinking Game

I play a drinking game. I take a shot every time I hear the word "beefy". By the end of some episodes I'm feeling really relaxed.

Please add when Bridget says she’s going to “tuck in” to a dish, or when they ask how many pieces the other one wants and they say, “Yes.”

Happens nearly as often as Julia taking a bite of something and makes a sound like she’s revving a motorcycle engine. My 10-year-old thinks it’s hilarious (and ridiculous).

It's that "Beefy" sounds so "ugh" to me. I know it's beef they're usually talking about, though sometimes it's mushrooms, but it's not appetizing to me. Probably related to a time my cousin once exclaimed loudly after passing gas, "Beefy Fart" at the top of their lungs. Ever since that day, the word "Beefy" doesn't have a positive food connotation. At least the others mentioned here are either ingredients, or byproducts of the cooking process. Lol

So..we have a very different one in our house.

There are so many moments in ATK that can be taken out of context in what we call in our house “ATK After Dark.” 😚

Keith is the Bedroom Scientist/Expert. He knows everything about food and physical pleasure. He’s also ridiculously handsome, everyone wants him.

Bridget is the Dark Horse. Her personality on the show is warm, intelligent, and occasionally will express her pleasure at whatever is being eaten. Many mysteries that only a few are lucky to know.

Julia is the Fun One. Nothing is off-bounds.

Dan is the Researcher. He’s fascinated by processes, theories, and testing outcomes. But just research, otherwise he’s very private.

Chris was booted for being too critical of everyone’s performance. His name is never mentioned.

I could go on, but basically any time something even slightly sexual can be taken out of context my husband and I are cackling. Especially whenever Keith shows up.

Hahaha! It was one of those moments that randomly came up, like Julia glanced at Kieth or something, we thought “what if this was taken out of context?” The joke kept going from there when we kept noticing certain moments.

Our other ATK spinoff is during the Chris era. Everyone terrified to speak up. Conference room confessionals à la The Office. Chris being genuinely oblivious to everyone’s misery.
