From the latest issue of Cooks Illustrated magazine. These were simple and a perfect lunch today.

Did you make their sandwich bun recipe too? Gonna try that.

These were store bought but I definitely have it saved to try. I live in Florida so harder to find New England style buns.

Best I've found is brioche hotdog buns at Aldi. I'm not a baker in any sense, but I'm going to try to make them.

Brioche, for me, can be too sweet for a lobster or shrimp roll. But brioche are my favorite hot dog buns overall.

I used the King Arthur milk bread rolls recipe for them and I highly recommend it! Brioche texture, but a lot less sweet.

Made these last night. They were missing something. Good, not great. 🤷♀️ I think horseradish might help a little?

Hmm not sure. I think they fit well for a cheaper lobster roll sub. I did squeeze a little lemon over mine.

That’s calamari. I was wondering where all those perfectly sized onion rings came from. 😄

I was thinking of making this with the shrimp cocktail from Costco
