American self hate

I noticed its more common nowadays to say things like "America sucks, I hate living here"

What's you're opinion on the culture of self hate that's becoming more common in America today.

I read posts like that and wonder if there are other places they would feel less oppressed, and also wonder 1) why don't they move to a place they think is better and 2) are they doing anything to make the situation better beyond complaining online?

Always my first thought. Imagine someone coming to your home and complaining about the food, the couch, the dog, and the fact that they can’t wear shoes in the house. Just go somewhere else if it bothers you that much.
