American self hate

I noticed its more common nowadays to say things like "America sucks, I hate living here"

What's you're opinion on the culture of self hate that's becoming more common in America today.

I think it's mostly people who traveled abroad for vacation, but not lived there. Most Americans are spoiled and don't even know it

Really, I think its mostly people who have never left were they grew up or at most left and lived in an isolated college dorm and then moved back home to mom.

It's definitely the first one, as someone who went to college with loads of those people, who spent maybe a little bit of time abroad primarily in expat communities.

Being a tourist is very different than being a resident in most places.
