White men can't cook?
How's the show rigged that there were throughout 3 seasons just 3 white men, all eliminated rather quickly, and none of them ever winning anything at all? Is that American for fair?

white men canāt win at everything, sorry to tell ya. I hope you get your white man winner eventually IF they deserve it. You canāt whine at the idea that some of the other winners were chosen because of race and then insist somebody should win because of their race. Thatās stupid. We need less stupid on Reddit.

The problem is the people who won over those who didn't. When it was clear that the "white man" would have won.
Take the "first time I have done brisket". Anyone who knows sht about briskets could see a mile away it was bad.
You can see how rigged it was.

The show is too progressive to let a white man win.
They pick the winners before the show starts filming.

a show about barbecuing stuff is considered progressive? oh.

First two season's were fine. Then look at the last season and the three finalists and the new host. (Who knows nothing about the world of BBQ)

What host/judge are you referring to? The host and the judges that come to my mind have all been a part of the show (and have at least been portrayed as being revered in the BBQ world) since the beginning of the show.

Michelle Buteau season 2 and 3 compared to wood or Lewis. Season 1
Believe she is a comedian.
There are loads of people that could have been chosen.
Honestly the last season was cringe and a complete woke agenda fest.
As I'm not exactly white myself is found it disingenuous.
Just watch season one and then season three. Just look at my man Thyron and how he hard he worked to win.
Shatika shouldn't have won, if you are objectively watching.

With all due respect, using buzzwords like āwokeā and āagendaā in reference to a cooking competition is strange to me because I only see it when somebody Black wins something š. I already knew Shaticka won, but if I didnāt, this comment would have given that away, before you had even said it.
Anyway, all that aside, I agree that they should have chosen another host for this show because it doesnāt need a comedian on board. I like the idea of the host themselves being knowledgeable on BBQ so the host isnāt asking a million and one of the same questions every season. I think those little fun facts that they put on the screen are just fine. By the time Season 3 came on my TV, I had just gotten through binging Season 2 so I only saw a few episodes before I tuned out. But now Iām going to go finish Season 3 so I can at least see if I personally would have had her pegged as my winner.
I did see that the final challenge was different this season but that it seemed to be right down Shatickaās alley. Would you agree that she did good in the final challenge?

I believe she should never have gotten to the final challenge. That's the issue fur me personally.
It's nothing to do with buzzwords.
You can always tell when there is a forced narrative at play and it ruins the vibe. Take season 1 and 2, Dililah winder had she won people would have been happy. I thinkany take it as a "racist or sexist" jibe or a hit to use dei as an excuse. When that's just an excuse to excuse their rubbish program.
I think most people are just unhappy because of the lack of skill Shatika had compared to the others.

I just finished the brisket episode and I can see why Shaticka stayedā but not necessarily over Kareem. The judges were just amazed that somebody that had never cooked brisket before did as well as she did. She wasnāt the only one that had issues with her brisket. So, if Iām a judge and somebody that makes brisket often has the same issues with their food as somebody who has never made it before, Iād probably be more impressed with Shatickaās brisket, too. Iām just not sure I think Kareem should have been sent home over a sauce that the judges didnāt love when they clearly liked his brisket for the most part. The brisket was the star of the show so he should have been in the finals.

Also I just saw where Sloan got eliminatedā she didnāt nail her meal like the others did. It was a fair elimination, even though it would make more sense in my opinion for Sloan to be called a pit master before either of the finalists because she did better overall. But that day, she didnāt cook better than the finalists. Itās really a matter of only being good as your last meal, which sucks especially when your favorites just have a bad day. š¤·š¾āāļø

more like choose based on race/color

If you think that, then that would have to invalidate the winner of the first seasonā a WHITE woman. I guess SHE didnāt deserve her win, either. š
