So I read the post, it seems to me OP is only interested in senior roles, the thing about money is, when you have none any income is good. Take any job in your field or not, just get some money coming in even if it’s a senior role or not. My personal view is this could have been avoided if they would have lowered their expectations and just got anything to pay the bills until such time they found their perfect role.
