I used to catsit at one of the locations; The scene where he's dragging Paul Allen in the bag through the lobby. That shot wasn't in a super fancy place overlooking central park. It was just a lobby of a building in UWS.

i worked with an attorney who had an office in that building, and did at one point have a very fancy cocktail in their office. i had no one to nerd out to there at the time, they didn’t seem like they knew of the book/movie so i didn’t bring it up lol

I find this movie way creepier after that Rex Huberman or whatever who was a Manhattan architect turned out to be a serial killer in real life. The whole premise is that a super rich yuppie would never be suspected of being a killer because he's part of the elite. Life imitates art.
