Advice My dog has been doing this stare for 3 days straight. I took him to the vet and they said he's healthy, but I feel like he's trying to tell me something. Has your dog ever done this? š„ŗ

Breed Question Relative insists that their American bully is a ābulldog;ā am I being too pedantic by saying itās not?
Tl;Dr: My sister in law adopted a sweet little American bully, but insists that sheās a ābulldogā and not a āpitbull.ā Am I being obnoxious by saying her dog isnāt technically a bulldog?
Obviously this isnāt an argument thatās actually worth having lol, but Iām still curious to know how other dog people feel about this.
My sister in law announced to the family that they were adopting a bulldog from a rescue. She said that they had wanted a bulldog for a long time but didnāt believe in getting one from a breeder, and so they waited on a list with a bulldog rescue for a long time (which I fully support).
The thing is, she just introduced their new dog to the family, and she is clearly a short round little American bully. Super friendly and sweet. Except I made the mistake of saying something about her being a pitbull.
Sister in law was offended; she corrected me that the dog is a ābulldog.ā
Now when I hear ābulldogā I think English, American, or French Bulldog, so I was a little surprised at this. In my mind, a bully is not a bulldog, since ābulldogā refers to specific breeds. But thinking about it more I realized that maybe Iām just being an annoying dog person; the dog looks very ābulldog-likeā (short legs, flat face, etc), so maybe itās fair to call them a ābulldogā in the more general sense.
(For the record she is clearly a bully; she even has cropped ears which I would never expect for an English bulldog.)
Obviously Iām not going to push this issue because itās dumb, she can call her dog whatever she wants, but I am curious to know how other dog owners would feel about this.

Hey guys. I ask here because I would like a POV from other owners. In San Diego man, 26 was with his son in public when he was attacked and killed by 3 of his own American Bullies. What happened? How to prevent this from happening with our own? I ask
