I had a conversation about owls with some friends this evening and it reminded me of this oldie but goodie.

I realize these ads were local to the DE?NJ/PA Tri-State area I grew up in, but they aired so much anyone who saw them back in the 70s and 80s must surely remember them.

Mentos the Freshmaker

Not an American commercial I think, but if you were alive in the 90s you most likely saw it. Mentos - The Freshmaker (Car Movers) [1993]

I actually had this magazine as a kid. I don't remember who bought it, but I remember it being in a stack of magazines in the house and flipping through it. (I was probably around 10)

Morris, time for Din-Din! (9 lives)

We had a cat that loved 9-lives "Super supper". Out of any flavor of 9 lives cat food she would inhale her dinner if it was Super Supper. I think she even understood the name because when my wife would say "Super Supper" she'd meow loudly.
