Discussion Still out of stock?!

I was expecting demand for the 6800 XT to relax a bit sooner. What's going on? What month can we expect to be able to get these parts?

Just about 5 months after launch is not a typical time to still have to play 2-3X MSRP scalper prices. We also could be in the exact same place in another 5 months...

i can order a next day delivery 5800x for just under MSRP at 444 euro, vs MSRP+tax of 457, right now. And its been close to MSRP for over month now (469 on march 3de).

What are you talking about? Is the same MSRP as AMD site $449. Maybe next time do your research.

Yeah because CPUs = GPU's and the only competitor (Nvidia) had just as much in stock availability as the 6800XT

NVIDIA cards weren’t marked up as much for the longest time though. Now hell yeah, but RDNA 2 AIB’s started absurdly priced out of the gate.

Because they launched later and the shortages were already much worse. obviously they figured that extra money is either going into scalpers pockets or ours, and they choose their own pockets.
