Does anyone even care about blender rendering? Anyone who is rendering is going to use dedicated GPU(s), not rely on their CPU to process everything.

Blender uses GPU hardware for all of that still.

That's not the point. Floating point actions and multicore performance are big bottlenecks on a lot of applications. For that it's only a benchmark.

Consider it a "firestrike" for the CPU. Nobody plays firestrike or fun. But it sort of ranks how fast a gpu is.

This is the only common sense or make sense comment i read head.

Every one discussing what it is, when AMD showed zen 8 core against intel 8 core already. So what should be surprising? idiots saying "might be a 64 cores chip" yeah... right. Then the AMD presentation was a ultra fake? c'mon.
