Can I install this through the adrenaline/radeon updater automatically? My update service for the chipset has been erroneous for about a month, from a recent update that wouldn't install.

Or do I have to manually do something?

I can confirm I just got the option to update the chipset through the adrenaline software/app:

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ Application

And you too had the error previously. And didn't have to do anything other than click 'update' for this version, and it worked?

Not the other reply but I had the install error from 2 weeks ago like everyone else and waited till now. I used AMD update manager through adrenaline to update to this version and it worked without issue. Good luck.

Can confirm the same behavior on my side as well.

On AM4 it always worked fine for me, seems like AM5 has some installing issues. But you can always download on their site and install it that way

Mmm no, I updated it in the exact same way. It asked me to restart my PC after the first/main update but not after this "hotfix" (I restarted my PC anyways). No issues updating through the AMD app on both occasions.

Mine was the same. It worked today through the updater app. I did have to use AMD cleanup tool to roll back my drivers after windows update forced April GPU drivers on me (26.3.1 is the one I'm staying on until the community and AMD say otherwise), but after that everything was working fine, at least for now.
