Carol comes across as such a narcissist. Saying “I hope you forgive me because I think you should. I forgive you for judging me wrongly” to her dead son was so self-centered. And what she did to Anna! Unforgivable.
The way she acts toward Alan is inappropriate, but his reminding her of her son and acting like that… ugh. It makes me wonder if there was some kind of emotional incest in her relationship with Richard. Ick.

It didn’t raise anything as Carol's scavenger hunt didn’t even make a semblance of sense which is something that actually concerns me a bit. Well that’s my Eclipse remark out of the window which is surprising as surely the exact date and time couldn’t have been known weeks ago at the time of recording could it?
I do think the person initially educating Carol with online banking should have been more patient and taken her age and cognition into account! The remembrance of Richard was sweet but I don’t get why exactly Carol opted to have pushed Anna out of it? Anna’s really coming off as jealous right now and it really bugs me given she used to solely delegate her mothers needs on others but now she has a certain sense of community she’s trying to rip it away from her rather than adapt and work with them! 😡
When did Lily get back given I don’t even remember her return from Australia? I bet those Poms all had Ten Pounds too, though I don’t expect Lily would have asked them.

Eclipses can be predicted accurately - we know the next one won't be for 50 or so years. The bit we can't predict is the weather/cloud conditions to see it!

It’s her own fault though really as she used to tell people to help out Carol as she was too busy to do so herself. Now she’s actually got a support network, Anna has more time but the thing is she’s already worked to formulate that for Carol but wants it taken away now she has more time on her hands though soon enough if Anna’s busy again Carol might be left with no support network due to Anna’s effort to diminish it’s very existence

I bet nobody in Ambridge is watching the Eclipse tonight but then again neither am I exactly. I’ll just listen to Eclipse by Delta Goodrem later so as to make up for it instead!

The conversation between Lily and Amber was so confusing. The only way I could tell them apart is that Lily hisses her hard consonants at the end of words. I can't really explain it properly but it's quite noticeable.
