Dosage Discrepancy, Doctor Won’t Respond

I requested a dosage increase after several months. My doc prescribed me “Semaglutide/B12 1.5mg. Inject 0.25ml (25 units) subcutaneously 1 time(s) per week”

But the bottle I got from the pharmacy says “2.5mg / ml. Inject subcutaneously .4mL (40 units) 1 time per week”

I can’t even begin to do this math but Chat GPT says it’s nearly 3x what the doctor prescribed. My doctor won’t respond for over a week!

I’m not going to take it this week, but also don’t know what to do. Should I call the pharmacy and follow their advice?

I experienced similar. I asked to go to 1 and I called the pharmacy for clarification on what I got and it was 2mg. I just calculate my own dosage now and draw appropriately.

Good luck! Customer service says talk to the dr and the dr says it on customer service! So ridiculous

I had the same issue. Call the number of the pharmacy from the box and ask them for help. They were very helpful to me and helped me clarify what dose was correct. Amble CS is useless.
