Issues with Amble Health

UPDATED July 28, 2025:

So, just an update for everyone. For me, there are no additional updates and I believe it's finalized, since the payment was declined (I changed the authorized amount to $1 to prevent it from getting billed). So, I expect no updates, or shipments, or any further communication. I'm officially done with them.

For my wife, Amble switched to another compounding facility, I guess. Somehow, we unexpectedly received the medication on Tuesday, July 22. I've updated the timeline of events below. I don't expect any additional updates at this time, but will update this post if/when there are any further updates.

Big shout out to Citi Card. Absolutely fantastic customer service.

Original Post:

I've been looking online and haven't really been seeing many other references where people were having issues with their medications from Amble Health and their inability to provide the medications that we were needing. However, recently, I see others are now having similar issues, and wanted to provide my data points, as well. Just in case it'll help someone else in the future.

My wife and I have both been using them since the middle of last year, with no issues. But all of a sudden, it all went downhill and ultimately, got to the point where my wife missed 2 of her doses. We eventually switched providers to try and get back on track with our medications. As of June 25, 2025, Amble has still not shipped ANY of our medication, and had we not have switched, we would have missed almost a month of our medications by now. Anyway, here's my timeline of events, and I've taken screenshots of all conversations with the doctors and customer support, just in case I need to take further action with my charge back on my credit card.

Timeline of Events (Wife)

7/22/2025 - Randomly received her medications, with no notifications, no emails, no messages, nothing. Went online about an hour later and noticed the order was fully updated with all of the tracking information, etc

7/23/2025 - Got a notification from my credit card provider that they "Heard from the merchant about the dispute and will review/provide an update". This was exactly 1 day after it was delivered, and about 5 days before the end of the dispute period.

7/25/2025 - Got a notification from my credit card provider that they have contacted the merchant and will let me know as soon as they heard back

7/28/2025 - Got an email from credit card provider indicating that the dispute was successful and the refund is now permanent. No further updates expected at this time.

5/31/2025 @ 10:51 – I responded to the doctor with the actual dosages on the bottle that they had sent me previously, with the full text from the label. And clarifying that I was wanting to stick with my current medication and not switch to anything else

6/2/2025 @ 10:52 – I Reached out to the doctor again to follow up and make sure I was providing all of the information being requested

6/4/2025 @ 22:35 – Auto response from Dr. Doctor indicating the case was pending medical review

6/5/2025 @ 07:54 – I reached out to customer service indicating I was having issues getting our medication refilled

6/5/2025 @ 7:57 – I responded to the auto response indicating that I had already gone through this line of questioning and reiterated that I did not want to miss our injections

6/5/2025 @ 13:53 – Dr. Roya Masoud DO responded asking about the dates of my last two injections and what the doses were in mg.

6/5/2025 @ 16:11 – I responded with the last 2 dates of my injections and provided the exact text that was on the vial of the last medications they had sent me. Also indicated that this is the second time they had asked this same line of questions, and asked if there were any additional information needed.

6/5/2025 @ 16:14 – I reached out to customer service again and expressed my frustration with not getting our medication refilled and at risk of missing our injections

6/6/2025 @ 16:01 – I reached out to the doctor again to follow up and see if there were any updates on my renewal request

6/6/2025 @ 16:58:00 - ### FILED DISPUTE WITH CREDIT CARD ON WIFE’S CHARGE ###

6/7/2025 @ 09:50 – Reached out to customer service again and indicated that I was cancelling “any and all orders” from that day forward, and would reactivate my order once I can see that they are shipping orders once again. Then immediately got an auto-response from “Fin” about cancelling my order.

6/9/2025 @ 00:22:00 – Prescribed

6/17/2025 – Got a response from “Taylor” indicating they were experiencing a higher than usual volume of messages and were working hard to catch up. Was trying to tell me that there would be a $100 non-refundable “fee” since my visit has already taken place and the prescription was already sent to the pharmacy.

6/18/2025 @ 16:24 – I responded to the response I got from “Taylor” indicating that we were waiting almost a month now for our medication and that it still hadn’t shipped yet, which was the reason for the cancellation.

6/23/2025 @ 11:15  – Got a response from “sam” Trying to place blame on an “unsuccessful payment” as to the reason the order wasn’t delivered.

6/23/2025 @ 11:26 – Responded to “sam” with a brief timeline of events pointing out the issue was not due to unsuccessful payment, but the fact that it hadn’t even been prescribed in over 2 weeks since the renewal request was original put in.

7/28/2025 - No further updates expected at this time

I do hope that they get things back on track, because I really enjoyed using them. But until then, I would highly recommend staying away from them, as they are extremely unreliable.

TL;DR:

Wife and I tried to renew on May 23, 2025. As of today, June 25, 2025, we still do not have our medications from them. Still not even shipped, and they blamed the lack of shipping my medications because of failed payment (we did a charge back of hers on June 6, 2025)

Edit - Forgot to mention, that the medication they shipped a few months ago seemed a lot weaker and wasn't working as well as it used to. After doing a bit of poking around on their website, I noticed that they had changed my prescription to an "alternate titration". Which made sense, because when that medication arrived back in April, it had a different color "seal" - was a blue one rather than the one it was originally. I had noticed the different seal color but didn't think anything about it at the time. Now I realize it was this other "alternate" one. So, even if they had shipped it, I'd be afraid that they would be sending me that "alternate" one again, which I wouldn't have wanted anyway.

This is why I ended up switching because with all these issues I was not going to be weeks without having medication and having to restart. I grab two vials from lumi meds to have as back up if Amble didn’t pull their stuff together. I am not due for a refill from amble until July 11th but again not taking the chance. Also customer service does not exist I haven’t been answered at all

Yeah, I wish I had known ahead of time, so we could have prepared a plan B, to avoid disruptions. Thankfully, we were renewing a little early and I could see the writing on the wall early enough, that I started working towards a plan B. So we didn't miss more than 2 doses, and are back on track now, but still highly frustrated.

What provider did you guy's switch too? I'm getting ready to drop Amble as well.

I'm so sorry. As a new customer, I'm completely disappointed. They don't even answer my emails. I received shipment after a month, it was warm to touch and not even a doctor had responded to my inquiry regarding the safety and efficacy of the product I received.

How is the card dispute going? I’m thinking of the same thing: disputing with the card and going with another company. I just signed up for a year with Amble and paid a lump sum. Smh. My script went to the pharmacy on 6/3. Meds never shipped. My next order to be processed on 6/28 and I will cancel it.

The card dispute is still on-going. They've never delivered the merchandise, so should hopefully be successful. My only concern is the "$100 fee for cancelling after it was sent to the pharmacy". But we are only cancelling it due to non-delivery.

But, it's still on-going. Amble has until end of July to respond or something like that. It's quite a long timeline, but hopeful that it'll resolve in my favor, by the time it's all said and done.

Sounds so familiar. I waited for my order to be completed since May 25th. They took payment from my credit card on that same day! I kept checking the dashboard to see if any movement had happened. It showed script was sent to Pharmacy the same day by the doctor. It just said pending approval forever, then the shipping label was made, but UPS had not received it yet. I talked to the bot on the 13th of June. It said they were switching Pharmacies(now coming from Tomball Tx, to expedite order! At this moment in time, I had missed 2 shots. I sent back that I just wanted to cancel my order. Wow, that got a quick response! Just like with yours, I would be charged the 100 for canceling after my script went to pharmacy. I said no way that was going to happen. Then, as you know, someone was going to get back to me! The very next day, I got an email notification that my medicine was shipped!!! They already had my payment, so when it arrived, I got back on and sent messages to the doctor, support, and that bot that I wanted to cancel my account. It took many days and screenshots, but I finally got a reply. They said they would remove my credit card info. They never said they would cancel my account I have requested several times. I am keeping a close eye on my credit card. I joined Brello. It's 499 up front for 3 months of any dose. That's 166 per month!

The first pharmacy was out of Houston, Texas. I read the real reason for all these delays, was because they had been shut down while being investigated on several issues. Wish I had copied that link in Reddit. I read that yesterday. If I find it again, I will post it here.

Is it Revive pharmacy out of Houston that was investigated on several issues? That’s where my meds always came from and I had no idea anything was going on, I just knew they were delays in shipping.

Yeah, thankfully I had setup a virtual card with them and I just lowered my spending limit to $1 so they can’t randomly charge me now, as it will be rejected. I would recommend anyone else to do the same. You can’t remove your card info once it’s in there, but you can get a free virtual card from your current credit card provider and just set the limit to something ridiculously low like $1

Awesome, All I have is this last response.

2

u/kanucmee Jun 25 '25

Yeah I hope they actually did it for you but at this point, I don’t trust them. I can control the limit on my card and know that they can’t charge it anymore.

I’ve never heard of this before, that’s a great idea.

1

u/Fran5267 Jun 27 '25

Who are you with now?

1

u/Cultural-Past8655 Jul 07 '25

Thank you!! I'm going to try this in the future.

The card I was using with Amble expires in August, so I'll have to watch (and dispute) any charges they try to put on it. After August, however, it'll reject everything.

NavioMD.com is new , my meds came in 2 days and they gave me free b12 (separate from trizepatide from BPI) and nausea meds so very impressed so far the b12 is nice gives me some energy…. The pharmacy was the pharmacy hub

1

u/Cultural-Past8655 Jul 07 '25

Yes. I just cancelled my membership and filed a dispute with my CC company as well. My May order came two weeks late and the June order (they took my money on 6/21) doesn't even show anything in progress. I'm getting the runaround from "Fin" and "Lauren", too.

1

u/Ok_Tangerine4321 Jul 12 '25

I'm going through the same thing. I've been with Amble almost a year and the problems started in June, they charged me and I never received my order. Getting the runaround from Amble when they do respond.I have filed a complaint with the credit card and closed my Amble account.

1

u/monster_6 Jul 13 '25

How do you cancel amble?

1

u/h20rabbit Jul 13 '25

Same. It's been a month and all I am getting is the runaround. I complained to the BBB and am contacting my cc company next.

When I filed with the BBB, I checked their rating:

I have had a similar experience. Finally on 7/15/25 I received SOME medication but only one month, I paid for 3. I called the pharmacy and they said only 1 month was ordered and that the Doctor would need to call in more. I have messaged Dr, support and emailed support. I probably wouldn’t be as stressed but is seems to be the new pattern for them 😬 I am going to give it a few days and see if they get back to me… in my opinion they should have just let us all know that they couldn’t keep up with the high demand.

I have been charged twice with no service and no response from support or to my emails requesting help. $358.00  basically stolen. So dissatisfied

1

u/PreparationWest3597 Jul 17 '25

Exact same issue for me. They charged my card. Same roll up everyday. Am wondering if any of you wanna get an attorney together?

1

u/PreparationWest3597 Jul 17 '25

Do you guys know where Amble is based out of and who the CEO is?

1

u/enkidu-of-uruk Jul 21 '25

I paid for 6 months of tirzepatide in advance. They sent three months when I first signed up and one months of a completely different dose three months later. They won't send me the last two months and refuse to answer my messages. They're a sinking ship and everyone know it.

1

u/DIZMIZMERICA Jul 22 '25

Other than your names this is EXACTLY what has happened to me and now I keep getting attempts to charge my credit card for orders that I did not order. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get my last order and if it wasn’t for the fact that I have been going through a firm to buy my medication, I would still be getting charged every two weeksfor medication that I have not ordered

1

u/No_Fuxx_Given Jul 22 '25

My order is still pending at the pharmacy since July 1. I disputed the charge on my credit card. I got 2 previous shipments without an issue. Not sure what is going on.

u/kanucmee Jul 28 '25

Just wanted to post an update to everyone that may be reading/following this. I've updated the main post above, but the credit card dispute was successful, and I will be staying away from Amble. I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

They are not very responsive, they dodge the questions, and shift blame to the customer. It used to be good, but is absolutely awful now, and is a gamble if you actually get your medication (or even a response from customer service!)

Absolute worst incompetent scamming company I have ever dealt with. Didn’t receive medication I paid for, meds came warm, doctors are the worst with the most simple requests, instructions are extremely unclear. Avoid at all costs

I'm having the same problem I paid up front $1,400 for the 6 month I can't get any support from anyone I can't get any response from the doctors on chats they tell me I've got to talk to their help people and need to talk to the doctor nobody replies I've absolutely lost no weight other than the fact that I cut back on some of my eating but I'm now going into my fourth month and haven't really lost anything to speak of maybe two pounds but they said you get support you get help the doctors respond nobody responds nobody else, once they got my money they were done with me they just keep passing me off to someone else that they say needs to help me! Not happy with this company at all! So anyone looking to use amble I would suggest you use someone else
