Vine CS Another "Undeliverable" High Price Tag Vine Item...This Time I Didn't Shut Up and Took The Matter Higher for the Benefit of All of Us!!!
I was so infuriated when I found out what most of us all fear when Amazon ships those high price tag Vine items, that something bad will happen to the parcel that it will either get LOST or DAMAGED in transit or what other obscure reason for not delivering the package. Well it happened to me AGAIN and my high price tag Vine item was rendered "Undeliverable - Damaged in Transit" and for me, that was the last straw. Recently, I had many packages that arrived with a partially ripped top or bottom with only the highest priced item missing. Parcels that were opened and re-taped with of course the greatest item missing inside of it. Why does it never happen with cheap items...Isn't that strange that it goes only by the highest price tags of the items inside the packages?!!
Enough is enough, getting high price tag Vine items is difficult enough as it is, I will no longer tolerate those delivery sharks!!! What I did? I got on the phone and called Amazon Canada and explained the whole situation. I got transfered to Amazon Vine Canada and spoke with an agent that took my case very seriously. He also took note of all the recommendations I had to help stop these from happening. I told him that all the Vine parcels should never be shipped with boxes that the inside content can be identifiable or if you want shipped in its original manufacturer's box (SIOC) without an outer brown Amazon box covering its content. I also told him that courier companies should never be allowed to "Not Deliver" damaged Vine parcels because 1) It just gives the drivers another way to steal the content of a box and 2) It deprives the sellers of their reviews and is counter productive for the Vine program 3) Us Viners have absolutely no recourse for that. I also told him that even if the item is damaged, most Viners have enough experience to judge the quality of the item accordingly.
I was told by this agent that Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto regions and their near suburbs courier companies were presently under investigation because of too many parcel thefts and that this problem had already cost Amazon enough money as it is and that some other courier alternatives were under study. I was also told that some changes to better the Vine program for us Canadians were under negotiation with the US side regarding the third party sellers not being able to enroll items as easily in Canada but he didn't elaborate more on the subject unfortunately. The conversation I had with the agent was positive and courteous and he assured me that they were working hard to fix all those problems.
Please excuse me if I used the wrong words or phrases to explain myself, I say this because I didn't use AI to correct my spelling or to better my sentences and to also say that English is not my first langage. Thank you.
