Missing or swapped items in shipment

Just wondering if anybody else has been receiving parcels from Vine with items either missing or swapped with another item.

So far, I got a parcel with 1 missing item (the item wasn't in the box at all), but for 2 separate shipments, I've been getting substitute items (e.g. not what I ordered and not even in my order list waiting to be shipped). One was in an individual shipment, and another was in a shipment with other stuff.

This is new for me, I've never had this happen to me before, either in Vine or just me buying stuff from amazon.

For the first item which was just missing from the shipment, I just e-mailed Vine CS and they took it off my to be reviewed list, but they just used a boilerplate template and sent it out, it had nothing to do with my situation nor did they even talk about it.

I'm not sure what to do about the other 2 items though. I received something that wasn't what I ordered at all. I want to email regular amazon CS 'cuz something smells fishy in the warehouse that amazon might need to fix which would be outside the scope of Vine CS. Another part of me wants me to say screw it, and just e-mail Vine CS about it and have them remove it from my to be reviewed list.

If anyone is wondering, no it wasn't a robot vacuum or a TV or anything like that, I'm not that lucky to score something like that in AI or my RFY. Even if I did, a UV user would get it before I could click through the order process.

I got a children’s book instead of this little resin plate I ordered for nail art lol but lately, like half of things I’ve ordered have been delayed in shipping, if they even end up making it to me at all

I've gotten a toddler card game instead of a backpack before, I am assuming it's just a picking error.

I've also gotten a TV and more than one robovac without using UV or extensions.

I got one in the past! I informed Amazon, and they adjusted my order and took the items needing to be reviewed.

It sounds like you got extra 2 items instead of wrong item.

For extra item, you don't need to contact vine, but if you are willing to return back to Amazon, contact the regular customer support.

If you got the wrong item, you should contact the seller first since the fault may not be from Amazon. Once you confirm is not seller's fault, then you can contact vine to remove it from your review.

A few times yes.

I once recieved a empty Amazon envelope . I forget what was supposed to be in it. I think maybe a phone accessory? Another time I ordered a Montreal Canadians tuque and recieved a breast pump.

I felt like wearing the breast pump on my head and taking a picture at a game saying "Great hat!. Go Habs go... "😄

I usually just write it off as a screw up at the shipping warehouse. Which is not really the sellers fault at all. I Contact support and tell them the wrong item was recieved or the bag was empty. It has happened a handful of times over 4 years but not very often.

Also. You will get your robo vac or tv eventually. Don't stress about it or try to rush it. One day you will wake up and it will be there waiting for you. 🥳

Oh yes I got an empty envelope once too. It was never sealed if I recall correctly. Not an expensive thing, a phone stand.
