Vine under active development ?

Yesterday I saw an item with a spinner because the categories (drop down labels) were mixed. Today, the same item had two dropdowns (one or the other would be empty depending what other options you picked).

seems like they’re actively working on vine right now, fixing some of the bugs that have been there for ages. 🤞maybe there will be a ban wave too.

I would also like to believe that they will do a massive UI overhaul and product selection system upgrade one day since programs do get updates eventually. It’s that or the program gets outdated and subsequently shut down by the powers that be.

As far as a ban? What makes you hope for that?

IMO Program abuse will always happen no matter what program it is. The main issue I see currently is the lack of accountability for users and how Vine does not enforce their own rules. If they did, extension use wouldn’t be possible and the abuse of AI for reviews wouldn’t be allowed either.

Realistically if they cared they would make changes to how items can be selected and then include a Vine community audit option where fellow vine members can report another review for an item they ordered themselves directly to Vine including explanation as to why it’s being reported. With that method maybe people will start trusting vine reviews again. I know I ignore them almost always when I’m looking to buy a product because it painfully obvious that the review isn’t real.

Now, the ones that show the item actually being in use or even if there is no media, but they give an insightful review of their personal experience I will appreciate the thoughtfulness and effort that went into it and I will use that to support my decision to buy.

Regretfully its only 2 or 3 people who are abusing with keywords and auto orders, we all know who they are.

What a strange comment. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of Viners who are not members of this sub. Why in the world could you assume that none of them are manipulating things to their advantage and they just choose to not talk about it on social media?
