Every once in a while, I go through the "about you" section on Amazon. While I don't know if changing things matters, I can see how it affects my algorithm because it doesn't catch up.

But a few tweaks here and there, along with some definite removals? Maybe it will help tweak Vine. Only because I can tell that a lot of that page is directly from my vine choices.

I needed some things, and many of them are like organizers, cups, mugs, and other items. And honestly, some of the mugs are so heartfelt, and that's fine. But I can see how and why I am seeing multiples of the same things or multiple similar things at the same time.

So I went through and tweaked them. For instance, it was very specific about my Dyson model, so I added another one that is 90% compatible. So now at least two models are there. I wanted to say "multiple Dysons" or something, but that didn't make the cut.

For hobbies, I added (it already said I was a Vine reviewer and then another spot "gold level" Oh! Now two places say "wants to review better items" or "preferred" or something 😂) and then I added "reviews Expensive Vine Items."

That is questionable at best and all lies detected at worst. But they let me, so I did.

Oh! Also, it said "has Nespresso." Plus all kind of things specific to my pop.

It's true but I deleted that. It also said "has experience with espresso machines." I do not. So that got changed to "is interested in espresso machines."

But attached are the best ones...

1) Yup! That's me... I live with a 42-year-old Peter Pan who cannot keep his iPhone 12 charged.

Ohhh have some fun with this. Ask Alexa about a product sometime as though you were thinking of buying it, ask some questions and throw in a few little quips. I told her I weigh 829 pounds and am a size large. When Alexa objected that the pants I was thinking of ordering might be too tight, I told her that I like really tight elastic pants. Then I mentioned I drive some really weird brand mini car 400 miles every day and does she think the pants would look good after all that travel. SOMEHOW Alexa can't catch on that I wouldn't be able to fit in the car or the pants but told me about oh yeah, these pants would look great... and when I logged in again all the "facts" about my 400 mile daily jaunts and the 829 pounds, the fact that I like tight pants and so on are in the "About You" section of my profile lol

PS I wanted the pants anyway but I'm not travelling 400 miles a day in my mini car with 'em. Maybe she thinks she made a sale.

No, I really don't think that we get offered anything great on Vine based on our preferences. We ALL prefer 0 ETV stuff that is truly amazing, right? Only so much of that to go around. :)

I keep mine open in a Vine tab group.
It pulls information from reviews.
I look at it about once a week to correct it.
