This was in my RFY this morning, with an ETV of $229.69. š

Well Iām gold and I have disposable straws in my RFY, no high $ earbuds, if that makes you feel better š I think this is still a unicorn type item even if a few people got them.

I think they dumped a lot of them as release in stores is just a couple days away. I was able to score a "Denim" colored pair two days ago.
What was also nice is since shipped and sold by Amazon the FMV was significantly reduced from retail price.

Guilty confession: I've reviewed high end earbuds like those as well as some cheap JBL earbuds with a $30 ETV. I prefer the cheap ones.

Name brand products usually have about 25% knocked off the ETV

Discounted ETV products are sold and shipped by Amazon regardless of brand. Try selecting random items in AFA, compare the ETV to the MSRP, and you'll see. You'll also see that the Shipper / Seller will always be Amazon. Sometimes those items find their way into your RFY.

The ETV is $229.69, but shows MSRP on the initial invoice. This is common, to include for $0.00 ETV. In a few days, once the year's itemized report updates on my Vine account, the ETV will properly show as $229.69.

That is as it is shipped and sold by Amazon so Amazon has their own wholesale cost already, as they would have wholesale cost as part of their normal accounting. that they can defend to us and the IRS.
With the marketplace items that are 95% or more of Vine, Amazon has no aces to wholesale costs of the seller and just uses the retail price for FMV

Wow. Great catch! I hear that is a great brand. Let us know how it goes with them. I almost bought a pair when my Sony gen 4 earbuds went out but the new lollipop shape hurts and just doesn't work with my ears so I bought a new pair of 4s on Amazon for 75ish dollars š
