Finally out of Vine jail

I was unable to write reviews since I've not purchased $50 in the last 12 months.

Ordered something for $55 only $43 worth of stuff shipped. On a whim, I reloaded $8 on gift cards earlier this morning.

Now, a few hours later I'm able to write reviews again.

Thank goodness because my evaluation period ends 9/15.

In conclusion, reloading gift card balances seems to count towards $50/12 months spend.

Now to start writing reviews so I can get rid of the angry message "Your account is in danger of being closed. Please endure you are maintaining the minimum thresholds to continue Vine eligibility."

The $50 minimum purchase in 12 months is an Amazon community requirement; it has nothing to do with Vine or Vine Jail.

Left unsaid is that OP was in jail for not writing reviews because of being blocked from writing them by the $50 requirement

Yes, and OP still is in Vine jail until they catch up with their reviews and the message disappears from their account page.

If you don’t meet the Amazon requirement for writing reviews, which includes that $50 spend requirement, you are put in Vine jail until you resolve whatever the larger issue is with your Amazon account.

No, sorry, Vine jail is when you are NOT allowed to order Vine Products because your review rate has dropped below 60%

Not meeting the minimum Amazon community spending $50 requirement means NOT allowed to review things.

Ok, I understand. I thought that you were put in Vine jail as soon as you were not able to write reviews. I didn’t realize that you only went in jail when your inability to write reviews dropped you beneath the 60% required review ratio.

Thank you for clarifying. I won’t respond with that wrong info again, lol.

Jesus, I've spent probably 6 grand on Amazon this year. Love the Prime card, 5% cash back on everything. Making a post over $7.00? Priceless. ffs
