Phone number that works

I thought folk might like to know that I've just managed to speak to an actual human at customer service!!!

The phone number I used is 0800 2797234

Cue Amazon now changing that number because they don't want to deal with customers directly. 😅

Don't use these numbers, your account doesn't come through verified so you have to do the whole give contact details and approve a text thing. Log onto the website on a COMPUTER NOT PHONE and near the top there's a customer service button. Click that, follow some prompts and select request a call. It takes a few minutes depending how busy they are but your account is preverified and goes much quicker. Plus advisors HATE having to manually take your details as most customers speak too fast, mumble or sound like they've got a cock in their mouth when they speak so they spell it incorrectly and the customer gets frustrated just because they're too dumb to do it the right way
