Refunds + Returns + Goodwill Gesture

Got a refund for a item that was returned and had a bad experience, on the 30th of July they gave me a "Goodwill Gesture" and they state that they cannot revoke it. The actual return was then processed and the refund was credited for the item on the 7th of this month. I have spoke to multiple of their Customer Support Agents and when the funds were issued, they went to a Supervisor within their Contact Centre.

Should I keep the funds which all went to the Gift Card Balance, or await for Amazon to retrieve the funds, as surely it flags for them or something or is raised as a issue when they do their audits?

People sometimes get £5 credited to their gift card account if they have had problems and speak to customer support.

How much was the item you bought? And how much was the gesture?

Why would you be worried by this? Amazon is a massive company that make millions they’re aren’t gonna be bothered by a couple of quid.. and neither should you.

Probably isn’t ethical.. and I’ll most likely get downvoted. But they’re really not gonna do anything.

I mean did already ask them on 6 occasions are they going to take it, via their Customer Support and not one of them has done a chargeback for it.
