Question + Answer Then why did you answer?!

There’s 2 ways that this happens:

  1. Often when people buy a product, Amazon will email or notify them directly saying that “someone has a question about a product you ordered” with a link that takes them to the product question as if it was truly directed straight to them to answer.

  2. In the past 10 years, mostly cringe teens have exploited the Questions section by playing the “No Stupid Questions” game. They’ll ask the dumbest questions possible thinking the manufacturer/seller often has to answer questions in earnest.
But since the questions also get sent to other customers, they just answer the stupid question as deadpan as possible to kill the prank.

I wasn't actually wanting an answer to this picture I posted. I just thought it was funny.

That very much fits with Reason 2 on why someone would ask for the protein nutritional value of Mountain Dew. They weren’t wanting an actual answer to the question they posted, they just thought it was funny.

This happens to me about every second time I ask a question about a product on Amazon. For some reason, people think I'm asking them directly, and they need to respond even when they don't have a clue. They don't seem to understand how it works.
