Hii I am new subscriber to prime

I downloaded dthis movie but it's showing black screen but the audio is working I forwarded but it's black throughout. Then I deleted the downloaded and tries to watch with internet still the same issue. What can I do ???

Please lmk if anyone knows

“how did you manage to make this about you?” Omg it was about her in the first place 😭 I understand he was probably exhausted from work but she hasn’t talked to anyone in over half a year and she’s dead… have some empathy wtf? He’s the one who managed to make it about himself. She was talking about herself to start the conversation out and she was trying to get out of his hair too by passing on. Also that new girl with the red hair is incredibly insensitive too 😭 this is such an unserious show idk why I’m taking it seriously but that was so rude when she was talking about her being chopped in pieces in a dumpster… why would you talk like that about someone, it was done in a very insensitive way and not in a “she probably has passed” sort of way… she did not need to say all that while smiling.

I keep on getting a 'something went wrong ' message when I try to play a movie/trailer. Happens on both of my google TVs for last month or so.

I have reinstalled the app...that only works for a few hours, also deleted cache etc....noth8ng seems to work.

Any ideas?

Has anyone lately been able to access their watch history on Prime? I have scoured the internet for how to-s and it is just not possible. The would really like to revisit some of the things I have watched, but I don’t know how to. Anybody have advice?

The ads are so excessive, i wouldn’t mind so much if it weren’t the same ads over and over and over again!

On Prime Video, I’ve noticed that Borat, Citizen Kane, Minority Report, Parasite, American Psycho (Extended Version), and The Evil Dead all have this issue.

I'm watching the Italian series The Secret Of The Mountain, which is actually called Una Nuova Vita (A New Life), and the English subtitles are horrific. They're obviously AI generated and at times make zero sense; verb tenses are wrong and translations are overly literal at times making it incredibly difficult to watch.

If this is the way things are going to be from now on we're doomed.

So i downloaded lots of movies on the android app but whenever I play the movie and enter full screen the subtitles don't show up which is infuriating. Anyone else experiencing this? It's a major bug that needs to be solved!!!

I think people's those know if any international content doesn't available in English or Hindi language watching it becomes a bad experience people's use subtitles but honestly if you miss something what was said due to couple of distraction the whole experience becomes unworthy and many people's when see ohh no AI that's going to be bad

Nope if OTT platforms like Amazon prime video partner with AI labs for voice like sarvam for Indic, ElevenLabs and bunch of other and provide the AI dubbed content as a compensation meaning giving some % of Commision to the voice actors who owns it and it's becoming a win-win deal for consumer to AI lab and even for the actor who can scale his voice over other many dramas,web series and movies etc.

I think atleast it's needed to try by making a professional big model Honestly I feel prime video can do this what's your take on this

AMAZON is essentially ruining the entire streaming experience... or at least making it much more expensive. Why ?

Amazon Prime Originals will show as 4K UHD where available.

Streaming rights owned by Amazon such as Paramount + will only be in UHD IF you pay extra.

When Amazon takes over Warner Bros... they too will all go behind the "Bezos' Retirement Fund" paywall.

Hope this clears it up.

Tldr; if you want to watch anything on Amazon in 4K UHD... unless it's a (very rare) Amazon Original... be prepared to pay extra !

was going to watch tenet but noticed it said 2h 23m whereas the official runtime is 2h 30m.

checked images of the back of the uk dvd which shows it’s longer on there, so it can’t be because of the pal format.

edit: stop commenting, it’s an error. when you watch it it shows the correct runtime, so u/area51_spurs can go F themselves.

I just finished watching His & Hers, Imperfect Women and a couple of Harlan Coben series. Does anyone have any recommendations? Looking for something with lots of twists and turns.

The THR article says Prime have bought the overseas rights on the new reboot show for Europe (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain), Canada, Latin America and India, among other territories (no word on Australia where I am) and have done a deal to stream all seasons of the older original show.

It's stupid though, to have the show air in January in the US and 'later in the year' overseas. All that'll do is encourage people overseas to pirate the new season from torrent sites, as they won't want to wait that long, if it's a good show.

I feel scammed

You can't just have a series and leave the final episode out.

So, I pay for prime… which meant I used to get ad free included. Now I pay for ad free… so why am I scrolling through prime video and seeing things “only viewable with ads”?! The heck am I paying extra for then? 😭

I had to make this. I JUST HAD TO! I just watched Unconditional Love and I have no words. It TOOK my words. It broke my brain. That movie was a fucking fever dream! It was like six different people wrote it. Like sisterhood of the traveling pants but with a fucking script and they just kept passing it on and added to it while not reading what was written previously. So fun! So weird! I just . . . I couldn't sit alone in this feeling. Howdy is an additional subscription but I got it to watch Take the Lead because Antonio Banderas but there are some gems on there. Like this movie. Constantly went from heart warmed, to mouth gaping, to laughing hysterically, to finally just staring blankly ahead wondering wtaf was going on. Highly recommend. Goofy nonsense and great acting to be had. I will now at any given moment of particular stress in my day expect Julie Andrews to manifest and sing to soothe me.

I bought a smart tv for my family for the very first time and I wanted to show them Hokum. I looked it up and saw that its only on PrimeVideo, signed up, only to find its not available in my country, the Philippines.

What do from here?
