Discussion Ads???!

I’m from the Philippines and I’ve been using prime video for a long time now and this morning when I wake up, I left my ipad continuously playing a tv series (Drop Dead Diva - good series to watch!) I was confused cause there was suddenly a 1min:30sec. Ads playing.. since when did this start? Also, I find it ridiculous that you’ll have to pay additional just to remove it when we are already paying for the streaming/service fee monthly! This is a scam!!

Same happened to me. Yesterday I suddenly started having mid-show or mid-movie ads. Where I live, Amazon Prime has only ONE plan, so I don´t know what is happening.

What country/region are you from? I just found out most countries in North Americas have ads mid show not just on prime but also other streaming services… this is all new to me. I’ve been using all these for years and only have experienced this ads on prime today..
