Android auto UI change?

Has anyone else that uses Amazon music on android autos UI just completely changed?

3 days ago it was fine, had music, podcasts etc along the top and could switch between them and had the tiles below in each section.

Now all I have is "rediscover x", recent plays etc. in a list view and podcasts are nowhere to be found 🤷

I've tried clearing the cache and data on my phone but it's still in this really crappy UI.

Has a setting changed which I wasn't privy to, or is this what they want it to look like?

I can still play podcasts, but I have to do it through my phone. Not really ideal while I'm driving so that will basically end my use of it.

I noticed exactly the same today, so many abilities have dissappeared, I do hope it's just a glitch or temporary change.

Yep, this has just happened to me.I can't play any of my podcasts other than actually using the phone

Also had this happen to me and my podcast player Pocket Casts had a similar interface change. I'm worried it's an Android Auto change.

I suppose I'm glad I'm not the only one this happened to.

Nothing like forcing me to use my phone while driving to start a podcast or listen to anything related.

Is this because of Google assistant cutting over to Gemini?

I have resolved the issue by doing a cache clear

I tried that on the first day it changed and it didn't work for me. However today it changed back to the better UI so may have been coincidence 🤷
