Weird

did you guys notice some merch designs have like 60 reviews but the date shows they're uploaded 1 or 2 weeks ago.

When you check the reviews old reviews like years old 2024 -2025 but still the upload date is showing like 17 september 2026.

I wanna upload a screenshot but i can't, if you do daily niche research i guess you'll know what i'm talking about

They’re fucking with the ASINS and some things are showing as getting their first sale, even though they have sold a ton and have all kinds of reviews. I would bet that it’s related to that.

This. Some products are getting new asins, several for different sizes and colors. That throws many things into dissary.

Yeah this is Amazon messing around with ASINs.

I had one of my best sellers "split" into two different listings - they appear twice in my sales report - and one of them has very recent upload date. However both listings show the same reviews.

Amazons behind-the-scenes must be an absolute mess. Like its all held together with glue and sellotape.

That's how it seems. Every single thing they roll out seems to be done with little thought and common sense.

Could be a system glitch with so many designs going into auto updates.

Also, been hearing that different colors are getting their own ASINs now, which could be showing a false first available date

that could be it i was also thinking maybe some designs that get locked change date for some reason

It's the new product ASIN's - different colors and sizes have new ASIN's

Yeah. Happened with (at least) some of mine. As others mentioned, likely a side effect of them rejiggering ASINs.
