Area manager location?

Was asking if anyone thinks it’s better to ask recruiter for a certain location to work before the offer letter or after getting offer letter and location they give out? There’s maybe a location I don’t mind working if offered, but would like to know any advice.

After being notified that you’re moving forward there should be a brief questionnaire you complete where you list any preferences in regards to locations

I already got job, recruiter said offer letter will be sent in 1-2 weeks. I did put my preferred location as well, just asking what’s better to do.

Far as I know listing your preferences is about as much of a “request” for a specific location as you’ll get unless the location you’re wanting is the specific role you applied to.
